This is one of my favorite new dances that Ethan has. Of course, we never actually caught it on video, but this is the closest version of the dance that we were able to capture.
Playing in the swing this afternoon...
Ethan's a busy boy! He started walking at about 9 1/2 months old... so we've pretty much been non-stop ever since. Can you believe that he's almost 14 months old now?!? Neither can we. He's such a ham... I suppose I might have something to do with that. He loves the outdoors, playing in the yard and cruising the streets in his Cozy Coupe.
He talks up a storm (in his own language of course), but we can understand a couple words like - "Ma Ma" "Da Da" "Ball" "Bye Bye" "Hey" - he also barks like a dog when he sees one or if you ask him, "Ethan, what's a doggy say?" He's getting better at the sound of a monkey, but sometimes his monkey turns into a dog (so we're still working on that). He can point to his head and his belly, but those seem to be the only body parts he's learned so far ;-)
He seems to go non-stop which worried us for a while... we thought he'd be an A.D.D. kid because he never sits still. BUT, in the last month or so he started sitting and playing with lego blocks. He brings us books and sits in our laps. Needless to say we're enjoying this "sitting" phase because it may come and go quickly!
